Deeper than the familiar macho or soft male facades there is a wealth of authentic presence
available for men willing to stay awake to direct experience in the midst of vulnerability.
This workshop series is offered to facilitate presence and connection to the deep masculine.
4 afternoons, 1– 6 pm at the Satori Center, Chico, CA
March 2, 3, 9 & 10
To create an intimate container for the group, spaces will be limited to 9 men.
Participants need to commit to all four workshops.
Whether or not you think you've done lots of inner work before, the prerequisite for this series is
a sincere willingness to show up in a real and heartful way, to drop deeper into your own wise self,
and a readiness to engage fully with experiential processes such as breathwork and guided inner journeys.
Expect the space to be held in a clear, safe and challenging way.
Contribution for this series is $180 (payment plans available for anyone needing one)
Areas covered in the workshops will include:
Inquiry into beliefs about what it means to develop as a man and to relate to other men and to women.
An invitation to replace familiar conditioning and behaviors with
the vulnerability and strength of authentic presence.
Exploration of positive and shadow archetypes in the masculine character.
How awareness and conscious relationship to these archetypes can remove blindness,
provide access to deep sources of benevolent energy for our lives and
help us to stand with our feet firmly planted in a visionary masculine that
serves ourselves, the people around us, and the world.

Feedback from previous participants who went through this and the second series workshops:
"I appreciate the depth of your perception of our mental and emotional processes, but more so that you inspire us to discover our individual true nature through love and empathy by example. I can’t begin to know how to thank you for your guidance, except to say that it has fundamentally altered the way in which I experience the world, and stimulated in me
a sense of greater responsibility to connect with others to inspire change on a greater scale." Jeff Brunson
"The way you embody the strength AND compassion of the masculine - brother, it's powerful. I appreciate how you genuinely care, you show genuine interest in everyone's experience, but from a place of strong groundedness in your own experience.
I also appreciate the wisdom you offer, and the humility that comes with it. You bring an energy of "I'm a man, I'm real,
I'm here, so let's all just drop in and be real, and be here" so in that, you are able to be both teacher/leader, AND participant.
My gratitude is beyond words." Ty Bell
"Thank you for such excellent guidance, for letting courage and that more ancient place help form the choices
you made for and behalf of our group. Thank you for steering the ship so well, and for helping to facilitate
a deeply important step I seemed to have missed along the way." CMB
"You are such an anchor. You brought challenging and inspiring activities that yielded rich reflections
to each group meeting. Thank you for all your gifts. I can hardly put into words how
grateful I am to you for all you have taught me!" Brandon Greene
“Your professionalism in leading our men's groups is only surpassed by your keen insights with each of us,
and your ability to continue to peel away the layers to get at some truths. My respect and trust are yours
as we move on to work on life's dilemmas and ever expanding rewards. Keep on healing” Marty K
“You have been the single most influential person in my growth over the past year and a half. Thank you
for opening my world and helping me shed poisonous beliefs and assumptions I had about the world and myself.
Meeting with me one-on-one was one of the most important meetings of my life. I love your approach,
your presence, your warmth, discipline and focus. You are powerful and wise. Thank you for
asking me the tough questions that I did not want to hear. Thank you for pushing me,
supporting me and sharing your wisdom. Your work is pure beauty and love made visible. “ Ryan Peterson
“I've always been impressed with your ability to stay present as a group leader, but there were times during
this last nine months when I marveled at your presence. It seems that benevolence has spread itself throughout my life. I'm more present, and I get lost in fantasies for shorter and shorter periods of time. I attend to my work better, and my relationships are more honest and intimate, and less disturbing to me too. I don't always have to meditate on peace, or pray for it to come...more and more I wake up to it, especially in the morning, which is a particularly beautiful benevolence to me.
Finally and always Luke, there was your great and always present kindness to us. It shines out of you.
Thank you for shining it on me” R H
“I am awed by your keen observation of what is happening around you and the skill with which
you hold up the mirror for us to see ourselves” David Sisk
“I love your combination of spirituality and groundedness. You lead us men with confidence and grace.
I enjoy your skill at penetrating into our psyches with your questions and intriguing gaze.
With all of this you maintain a very light-hearted sense of humor” Jonah Richman
“I appreciate all the love and energy and passion and wisdom that you poured into this group
and the one before it. Thanks for daring us men to stand up to ourselves
and our responsibility as men, in our lives and in our community” P Melton
”Thank you for offering a group like this. Thank you for giving it your all and then some. I think seeing people and
guiding them is very difficult work and you do it well. You can do these things with grace” Paul M
“Your goal to bring awareness to the community of men is admirable. Thanks for inviting me to take part in
these two groups. It has been therapeutic and healing for me. I didn't initially see why it had to be about men but there does seem to be a different energy and openness for me. Thank you for providing a place
where people can focus and listen. Feeling ‘listened to’ has been really good for me, and may be
a big part of what young men need from their elders” - Caleb Casey
"I really appreciated your presence, and your awareness of the importance of letting others just BE."
